In agile software development, sprints are short, focused periods of time (usually 1-3 weeks) used to complete specific tasks. These sprints involve a team working together to build a product, feature, or functionality within a limited timeframe. During the sprint, the team focuses on completing the tasks that are related to the goal of the sprint and helps to keep the development process on track. At the end of the sprint, the team reviews their progress and decides on the next steps to take in order to move the project forward. In addition, sprints provide the opportunity to make changes and improvements to the product based on feedback received during the sprint.
