Design Thinking is an innovative and creative approach to problem-solving that involves researching and understanding the needs of users, generating creative ideas and solutions, and designing products, services, and experiences that meet those needs. It is a process that encourages collaboration, experimentation, and iteration in order to come up with the best possible solutions for any given problem. By learning about the users and their contexts, Design Thinking practitioners can create solutions that are tailored to the specific needs of their users that are both effective and engaging.
Design thinking is usually a five-stage method for creative problem solving. The stages are:
- Empathize: Understand the challenge
- Define: Define the problem
- Ideate: Brainstorm potential solutions
- Prototype: Build your solutions
- Test: Test your solutions
